Barn XI - A Work in Progress

I picked this drawing that I had started a number of years ago (see post on 28 September 2013).

Starting with the drive shed in front of the main barn, I did the tin roof first keeping the bends and twists in the roof. I lightly indicated the grooves in the tin.

Next, I ran the support beams down at the front of the shed, followed by adding the boards along the side of the shed.















I then started working on getting the correct angles for the  front of the hip roof on the barn.

Next I put the facing boards on the front of the barn.

I will post this piece at later date as once I complete the roof line on the barn and more work on it is completed.

Roadway I - A Work in Progress

Today I wanted to do a little more work on this drawing that I had started a while ago (see post on 19 June 2013).

I started with the building on the right side first. Working from the top of the building down, I put on the aluminum roof, leaving a slight ripple in the top line of the building. Finished the roof by adding in a few lightning rods.

Next, I extended the wall to fit under the roof, straightened up the barn doors, added the frame around the window and finished by putting on the barn board.












From there I started on the building on the left side, I first worked on the back attachment to the building, putting on the roof and indicating a door.

Next, I started straightening out the front part of the building, but I had to get ready go to an appointment.

I will post this drawing at a later date once it is completed.
