My day lilies are blooming and this morning while sitting outside on the front lawn with a cup of tea I started working on this sketch of the lilies in my rock garden up by the house. They are always a welcome sign of summer with the large, lovely orange blooms surrounded by green foliage.
I will post this sketch at a later date once it has been completed.
