What would be better than out sailing on a lake, in the middle of a hot and humid summer day; beneath a bright blue sky with the sunlight glittering off the tops of the waves? Rather than do a traditional horizontal painting, I thought a vertical format would make it a little different and create more interest.
I will have to make some changes to this sketch to move the sailboat from being dead center of the painting.
I will post this painting at a later date once the outline drawing is completed.
