Winter Reflections - A Work in Progress

This is another painting based on a sketch I came across earlier this year (see post on 20 April 2013) and is from the same location on Buckhorn Lake as First Thaw (see yesterday's post).

It is just more to the right of the island and the windswept snow shows a larger clearing of the ice which reflects the trees on the island.















I will post this painting at a later date once more work on it has been completed.
