Most of the leaves are off the trees and they used to rustle underfoot as I walked along the paths through the forest. Now they are covered with a layer of snow and the air has a crisp, cold feeling to it.As the season progresses it won't be long before the snow will be too deep to go walking through unless I get out the snowshoes.
