I was not very happy with the sun (see postings on 19 Mar 2011 and 11 December 2011) as it still looked too much like a big orange floating in the sky.I went back and worked on it a little more and got rid of most of the "orange" and added a little white to the center of the sun to make it more believable.
However, I am still not completely satisfied with it. I will post it again at a later date when it is completed.
