The sun is lowering in the sky and night will soon be here.The sky was painted with mixtures of Antwerp blue and alizarin crimson with a touch of new gamboge for the sun.
The trees on the horizon are various mixtures of burnt sienna, raw sienna and French ultramarine blue.
Now I have to decide what I will do with the foreground, but I will leave that for another time. I will post this painting at a later date once I have made my choice and the painting is further along.
