Clear Lake VI

Today I wanted to complete this drawing that had been started a number of years ago (see posts on 09 June 2013, 10 July and 18 August 2017) while we were canoeing on Clear Lake.

I began with the trees on the large island and those on the left side of the painting, followed by putting in the rocks at the water line.

Next I added a few small rocks and some reeds in front of the land on the left side.















Lastly I put in the water ripples and a few reflections into the lake.

This original, 5-1/2" x 9" pen and ink drawing when matted and shrink wrapped will be available for $40.00.
