Some of the rocks needed more definition, so I used that as my starting point.When I was satisfied with the rocks I started into the water I added various mixtures of dark blue, blue green and yellow into the water trying to create the illusion of movement in the fast flowing river.
When the water was dry I used an exacto knife and picked out the white of the water as it splashed against the rocks.
