After a week without high humidity, we are right back at it with a temperature of 81F (27C) and the humidity making it feel like 91F (33C). I wonder how long this heat wave will continue.
I decided that I would work on this little painting that I had started last year, (see posts on 09 March and 27 July 2017).
I put the pine trees onto the large island at the far side of the lake using French ultramarine blue and raw sienna.
I darkened the water with the tree colour to create movement on the surface of the lake.
