Growies 4 - A Work in Progress

Today, I decided to do a small acrylic painting of a snow scene.

I started with a dark green of ultramarine blue, raw sienna and a touch of burnt sienna and painted in the bases of pine trees.

















From there I put in the under paint on the snow using various mixtures of titanium white, ultramarine blue and phthalo blue creating shadows and depressions on the snow.

Before I could get any further along on this painting, I has some unexpected friends drop by for a visit. I will post this painting at a later date once it has been completed.
