Against the Sky II

Today after taking Christine out for her birthday breakfast we went home passing by one of the Standarbred farms in the area.

There were a couple of horses on the track jogging and I thought I would do this little pencil sketch of one of the pacers.













I had thought about doing a series of four seasons paintings with Standards being jogged on the track. 

Perhaps at a later date I may work this one up into a winter painting.
