Each table was then covered with long white tablecloths, followed with smaller green tablecloths to create a pleasing contrast from the stark white.
Next we brought in the short grids that I store for the front display tables.

Then the narrower panels were set to each side of the main panels to provide stability so they wold not fall down if they were bumped into by someone not paying attention.
Once the grid set up was completed and each artist's name was put in their space we were allowed to bring in our paintings and start hanging our work in our space.

This time instead of putting small paintings on easels as I usually do I set out my two binders of ACEO one on either side of the painting rack.
It was at this point that one of the artists that was to be exhibiting with us was not going to be able to attend the show leaving a number of extra panels.

It didn't take long for me to fill the extra panels with a number of smaller paintings which went well together.
I then put two paintings on the front grids where all the exhibiting artists had a couple of paintings to give the public an idea of the works they would see throughout the show.

Then I made a list of them for the people who would look after sales at the front table.
Next I hung one of my paintings on the wall near the Buckhorn Artists' sign.
This piece will remain in the Church throughout the winter and will be replaced with another painting after the New Year.

Lastly I set up my table and chair at the back of the Church in my usual painting area.

I put the plastic protector on the table, set out my paints, brushes and the pieces I would work on over the course of the show and to the side of the table I placed my sketches in case I wanted to do some pen and ink work.
