Flag Race - A Work in Progress

It is another cold day but at least a little warmer than yesterday at -2F (-18.9C) and the wind chill making it feel like -21F (-29C); but spring will eventually arrive next month.

This is a sketch of the flag race which is one of the many timed evens in western horse shows.














I sketched in a couple of positions for the phase of the stride I would like on the horse.

I may have to do more than one outline drawing until I am satisfied with the position of the legs.

I will post this sketch at a later date once the outline drawing is completed.
