This is the first of four paintings of the same scene at different times of the day.
The sky is done wet on wet and the colours used to create the sky were aureoline, raw sienna, burnt sienna, alizarin crimson and French ultramarine blue.
The base colour of the water was using just raw sienna and burnt sienna. More colours will be painted on top of it to create the wave patterns once the paint is dry.
I will post this painting at a later date once more work on it has been completed.
