Reflected Trees 2 - A Work in Progress

Today I just couldn't get into painting so I played with my two most used colours, French ultramarine blue and burnt sienna.

I washed in the sky and then started painting in some dark trees, which just weren't working.

So I turned it upside down and lifted some lines of white from the painting to make it look like the trees were reflected into water.

I am going to put a duck swimming in the water. I will post this painting again once it is completed.
