A space has been left for the trunk of a foreground pine. Then the background trees were painted and their dark reflections have been put into the water.

Pleasant Place - A Work in Progress
The sky has been painted with storm clouds rolling in and a little blue showing on the distant horizon.
A space has been left for the trunk of a foreground pine. Then the background trees were painted and their dark reflections have been put into the water.
