I did a sketch of the entire display and with all the detail that needed to be added did not have any time to paint.I will post this painting once I do put some paint on it at a later date

I did a sketch of the entire display and with all the detail that needed to be added did not have any time to paint.
I did more work on the background trying to keep areas of light showing behind the birch trees and giving an illusion of depth. There is still a lot more work to do on this painting and I will post it once more of it completed.
I decided I would start this painting. It is from a photograph I took after finishing the barn chores this morning and walking back to the house. 
This is another of the cowboy hats I started from the still life display at KAGS on Thursday.
